IEC62262 IK Mechanical Impact Test Equipment with 2J to 20J Stainless Steel Pendulum Impact Hammers
1. Introduction
IK pendulum hammer is designed according to IEC60068-2-75 and IEC62262 (equivalent EN62262) , and can meet the test requirements of IEC60598, EN50102. The IK Code was originally defined in European Standard BS EN 50102:1995 and amended in 1998, following its adoption as an international standard (IEC 62262) in 2002, the European standard was renumbered EN 62262. The IK code is from 00 to 10, and corresponding impact energy is from 0.14J to 20J.
IK pendulum hammer is for IK07 to IK10 testing, the hammer is made by steel, the working principle is : the sample is placed in normal, then adjust the impact points, and position the impact device, then release the hammer to freely impact the hammer.
IK pendulum hammer testing equipment can be adjusted back and forward, left and right, and the angle also can be adjusted.

3. How to install the hammers?
4. How to use the equipment?
1). Fixed the specimen according to standard requirement: fix the specimen on a solid support as per normal use, or lean against a solid plane support (or wall).
2). Choose the relevant impact hammer and fixed on swing rod, then adjust the rack to make the top of hammer contact the test point of specimen. If the top of hammer is on the upper or low, the swing rod can up and down by adjusting the hand-cranking wheel to make the hammer contact the test point of specimen,
Uplift the impact hammer, and observe the height indicate panel to make sure the height is right, and then release the swing rod to impact the specimen (Note: Please avoid the secondary impact).
3). Check the appearance, size and function of the specimen after impact test, and then make a judgement according to standard.
