Enamels impact test apparatus (Pistol Test) for determining the resistance of enamelled articles to impact
1. Introduction
The enamel impact test apparatus is designed according to ISO4532:1991 figure 1 for determining the resistance of enamelled articles to impact (Pistol test). The test apparatus consists of a striking bolt with a 5mm steel ball tip, spring load, trigger and a tripod. This device is a completely mechanical instrument with a force range of 0~90 N/cm, which is continuously adjustable and the minimum adjustable precision is 2 N/cm. With a specially designed tripod stand, it can not only test on uneven sample surfaces, but also on the edges of the sample.
