IK01 to IK07 Spring Operated Hammers for Assessing Mechanical Strength of Electrical Appliance
1.Introduction
A spring operated hammer is a professional testing device used to simulate mechanical impact environments and test the impact resistance of products. It is manufactured in strict compliance with the requirements specified in Figure E.1 of IEC 60068-2-75 and mainly consists of three parts: a housing, a striking element, and a release system. The core working mechanism of this device lies in storing energy by compressing a spring, then instantly releasing the energy through a triggering mechanism, and finally driving the hammerhead to strike the test piece with a preset force.
Spring impact hammers are mainly suitable for IK01 to IK07 tests and fully meet the testing requirements of IEC 62262. Currently, they are widely used in product quality and safety testing in industries such as electronics and electrical appliances, medical devices, automotive components, and toys. Their core function is to verify whether products can withstand impacts of specific intensity without physical damage or functional failure during transportation, daily use, or accidental collisions.
