IEC60350-2 Standardized Cookwares for Evaluating the Energy Consumption of Electrical Hobs

  1. Introduction

The stanardized cookwares is designed according to IEC60350-2 and EN60350-2 for evaluating the energy consuption of electrical hobs intended for household use. The side wall of the vessel is made of 1.4301 stainless steel (AISI 304) with thickness 1mm±0.05mm, the bottom of the vessel is made of 1.4016 stainless steel (AISI430) with thickness 6mm±0.05mm. The cookware is cylindrical without handle or protrusions. And the lid is made of aluminum, and thickness is 2mm±0.05mm. Each hole circle of the lid has a diameter of 16mm±0.1mm, the holes shall be evenly distributed on the hole circle. The lid is flat and can accommodate a temperature sensor in the center.
